Zeus Fencings COMMITMENT to DESIGN , ENGINEERING and TESTING of all our

FRAMELESS GLASS FENCING SYSTEMS.

Zeus Fencings commitment to quality is best summed up by the following procedures required for the production of our frameless spigots compared to competitors. As you can see we are very thorough when it comes to the safety of our products.

Keep in mind that Zeus Fencings products are extremely competitively priced, and you have to ask, where the savings
obtained by completing minimal to no testing and little product development are going with our competitores products.

1. Frameless Spigots are designed to blend in with your environment in the most aesthetically pleasing way, while matching the way installers install product.

A Cheaper Copy of what's been on sale before or hasn't been updated in many years.

2. Spigots Designed on the latest 3D modelling software to check product looks correct before engineering starts (ensures no changes due too aesthetics at the sample stage ).

Yes. 3D Modelling is used.

In most cases someone else's design is used with minor changes at best

3.Project is engineered and designed on the Latest CAD Software ( This is important for production tooling & manufacturing tolerances ).

Yes. Click Image to Enlarge

No. In Most cases a competitores sample is used.

4. Design is put through Stress modelling software to verify engineering calculations and ensure no problems in compliance testing

Yes. Click Image to Enlarge

No. In Most cases a competitores sample is used.

5. CAD File sent to Production Facility to ensure produced item matches specification

Yes.

Copy sent to contact found over internet ( In most cases the only contact with manufacturer is via e-mail, if your lucky they may have had one meeting )Still sold as Factory Direct to you.

6. Production Prototype constructed in ISO9001 Facility

Yes.

Don't Know for sure, relying on person only contacted over internet to produce sample.

7. Sample Put through full battery of compliance & quality testing. Finally put through destructive testing to check maximum Loading compliance in Australia

Yes.

No, in most cases a visual inspection followed by one off sample /prototype test. This is then passed as compliance testing. Watch for Chinese testing certificate as counterfeiting and the use of another persons certificate common place.

8. Product is produced in ISO9001 Facility.

Yes.

No .Don't Know as in most cases competitores are relying on internet contact not lying or out sourcing production to a unknown facility.

9. Independent Auditor and factory inspection to ensure all production procedures followed and no outsourcing of production.

Yes.

No. You could be receiving left over stock of a batch run for another countries specification. Common in Chinese internet based sales due to no efficiency in small batch runs, so they manufacture more & sell without certification to unscrupulous resellers who then claim FACTORY DIRECT prices .

10. Large batch size produced. This helps with uniformity of production.

Yes. 7500 units for Chinese production , 5000 for our new European Clamps

No. In most cases less than 500 units, this increases likelihood of raw stock being whatever's closest in factory instead of design specified raw material

11. Batch tested to ensure compliance. This is very important in ensuring product produced for sale meets Design & Engineering specifications. (An example would be FERRARI testing 20% of engines for conformance to spec or a leading Helmet manufacturer that tests 50% of production to ensure your safety) This is considered a vital step to ensure quality in modern production facilities worldwide.

Yes. 25%  production undergo testing (excluding visual inspection ) ensuring your safety and product compliance

No, In most cases prototype test only leaving you not Knowing if your product was even manufactured with the same material or factory as their sample tested piece. Please note sample test does not ensure compliance.

12. Testing Conducted In Australia

Yes. All products are tested in their major market places (eg. Products sold in Australia tested in Australia, products Sold in USA tested in USA regardless of place of manufacture.

Not Always. If they are tested at all, it is usually where cheapest, with prototype / sample tested in Australia

13.Spigot designed with installation in mind ensuring product still meets standards after installation has taken place.

Yes. Click Image to Enlarge

Starting with 3 sizes of spigot manufactured to suit your situation, our improved glass mounting system, all spigot electrical earthing ready when required and finally ready for deck mounting and extensions without compromising quality.

In most cases even seller has had no input into design, so their installers are given even less consideration which can compromise quality, compliance with standards integrity.

Why this is Important to you.

Most importantly this ensures the safety of your Family, Friends and clients whenever they come into contact with any of our products. It also leaves you knowing you received the quality product you payed for when choosing your Glass Fencing / Glass Balustrade supplier.

A secondary consideration is the governmental changes to regulations underway and their desire for yearly compliance checks make it even more important to ensure all products meet Australian Standards.an example being that Queenslands now requires a pool fencing complience inspection whenever the proprety is sold or new tenants move in.

While the Internet has made it easier to source products from overseas it has also made it easier for unscrupulous resellers to bring in sub-standard products. This was shown in a study by Choice Magazine (click to view article) that produced independent test showing a majority of tested products failed to meet Australian standards, this included some big names in the industry such as ARC Fencing and the supplier for Bunnings Warehouse's that source there products out of China. This can make it very expensive for you the property owner as the final responsibility both criminally and civilly is on you ensure all standards are meet. People who have purchased these products are now left not only having paid for them the first time, but they now have to pay for them to be replaced and any fines incurred for having a non compliant fence.

Testing is expensive and this is the reason in most cases why it is not carried out, but not carrying it out leaves you with an inferior product and anyone that has dealt in international trade (and especially with China) will tell you quality quickly degrades if these checks are not completed. What unscrupulous traders count on is that, in a visual inspection they look the same as a fully tested and Australian Standards Compliant product.

Keep in mind that Zeus Fencings products are extremely competitively priced, and once again you have to ask where the savings of minimal to no testing are going when competitores products are more expensive than our own.
